Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Season'S End by Jonathan Armigel Wade was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,305.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Armigel Wade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The dewpond; and Parting, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Season'S End von Jonathan Armigel Wade kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.305,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Armigel Wade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The dewpond; and Parting beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.660,06) versteigert wurde.
