Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jonathan Armigel Wade achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Quiet Night sold for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,320.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jonathan Armigel Wade; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The dewpond; and Parting sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jonathan Armigel Wade erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Quiet Night für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.320,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jonathan Armigel Wade; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The dewpond; and Parting im April 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.660,06).
