Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fevrier by Jonathan Armigel Wade was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 832.00 (€ 970.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Armigel Wade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The dewpond; and Parting, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fevrier von Jonathan Armigel Wade wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 832,00 (€ 970,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Armigel Wade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The dewpond; and Parting beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.660,06) versteigert wurde.
