Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Olives, wine and winged beings in the warm south by Jonathan Armigel Wade. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,269.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Armigel Wade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The dewpond; and Parting, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Olives, wine and winged beings in the warm south von Jonathan Armigel Wade zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.269,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Armigel Wade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The dewpond; and Parting beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.660,06) versteigert wurde.
