It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,379.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by John William North have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Grass Of The Field in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,071.12).
