Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cornish Landscape by John Wells was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,112.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Wells achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Structure In Oval in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 68,062.39).
