Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cornish Landscape by John Wells was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,112.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Wells achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Structure In Oval in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 68,062.39).

Die Arbeit Cornish Landscape von John Wells kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.112,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Wells erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Structure In Oval im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 68.062,39).
