A top price for John Wells
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Structure In Oval by John Wells. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 55,250.00 (€ 68,062.39). With this result, Structure In Oval is even the most expensive work of art by John Wells that we have observed at auctions so far.
