Auction result well in line with expectations
The work She (Film Portrait Collage) V by John Stezaker was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,664.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Stezaker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kiss I in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,347.94).
