It achieved a price of GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,329.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John O'Connor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ludgate, Evening in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 210,878.05).

Die Arbeit A view in Vicenza von John O'Connor wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.329,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John O'Connor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ludgate, Evening im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 210.878,05).
