In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Old House In Lannion, Brittany; And Street In Josselin, Morbihan, Brittany by John Mulcaster Carrick for GBP 437.50 (€ 516.28). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Mulcaster Carrick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26).
