Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Boating, Hampton on Thames by John Mulcaster Carrick. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,407.08). Admittedly, works by John Mulcaster Carrick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boating, Hampton on Thames von John Mulcaster Carrick zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.407,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Mulcaster Carrick auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.247,26).
