Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,728.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Mulcaster Carrick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26).

Die Arbeit Newlyn, Cornwall von John Mulcaster Carrick kam im November 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.728,44) einen neuen Besitzer.
