Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Mulcaster Carrick could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures including Marine pictures auction, the work At Dole, Brittany changed hands for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,158.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by John Mulcaster Carrick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
