Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Road To A Rural Town by John Minton was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,094.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Minton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jamaican Village in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 293,000.00 (€ 345,711.19).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.094,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
