In the The Collection of Sir Nicholas Goodison - British Art: Innovation and Craftsmanship auction, the work Blackfriars Railway Bridge and The City from Bankside sold for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,716.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Minton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jamaican Village in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 293,000.00 (€ 345,711.19).
