Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Landscape, Ocho Rios by John Minton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,683.05), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Minton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jamaican Village in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 293,000.00 (€ 345,711.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape, Ocho Rios von John Minton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.683,05) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Minton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jamaican Village im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 293.000,00 (€ 345.711,19).
