The price achieved of USD 187,500.00 (€ 177,254.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Leslie Breck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garden, Ironbound Island, Maine in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,447,500.00 (€ 1,368,406.13).
