In March 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Daffodils by John Leslie Breck. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,327.11) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Leslie Breck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden, Ironbound Island, Maine in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,447,500.00 (€ 1,368,406.13).
