Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 123,480.00 (€ 113,722.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John La Farge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Valley--Paradise Rocks in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 2,096,000.00 (€ 2,410,858.06).
