However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Kingerlee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grid Composition, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,822.67).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.721,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Kingerlee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grid Composition beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.822,67) versteigert wurde.
