Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2005 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Moroccan landscape by John Hubbard. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 525.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Hubbard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shah Nameh Landscape overall, in two parts in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 20,062.50 (€ 22,122.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moroccan landscape von John Hubbard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 525,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Hubbard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shah Nameh Landscape overall, in two parts im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.062,50 (€ 22.122,17).
