The work Evening In A Perthshire Glen, Near Pitlochry; And Clearing After Rain, Dysart by John Hamilton Glass was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2006. The price achieved of GBP 540.00 (€ 773.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Hamilton Glass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden retrievers and a terrier in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,479.36).
