Admittedly, works by John Henry Twachtman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hemlocks in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 600,000.00 (€ 445,997.18).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 83.698,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Henry Twachtman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hemlocks im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 600.000,00 (€ 445.997,18).
