The result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,268.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Henry Twachtman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hemlocks in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 600,000.00 (€ 445,997.18).
