Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Everyone Is A Complete Disappointment by John Giorno. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,565.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by John Giorno have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work I AM WAITING IN LINE WITH MY GROCERIES AND I WANT TO GET AWAY WITHOUT INCIDENT was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,374.87).
