Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work "Andy Warhol". by John D. Schiff for SEK 7,500.00 (€ 720.77). This price was achieved in the auction Autumn Modern sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by John D. Schiff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marcel Duchamp Sitting in Armchair, 1950s in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,671.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Andy Warhol". von John D. Schiff für SEK 7.500,00 (€ 720,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Autumn Modern sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John D. Schiff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marcel Duchamp Sitting in Armchair, 1950s im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.671,41).
