Admittedly, works by John Butler Yeats have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait, New York in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,269.87).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.926,99) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Butler Yeats auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self Portrait, New York im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.269,87).
