In the Irish Art, including Property from the Collection of Sir MichaelSmurfit auction, the work Seven Sketches Of Children sold for GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,252.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Butler Yeats achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self Portrait, New York in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,269.87).
