In the Yeats: The Family Collection auction, the work Self-Portrait sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,181.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Butler Yeats have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait, New York in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,269.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Butler Yeats erzielte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Yeats: The Family Collection wurde die Arbeit Self-Portrait für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.181,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00.
