In November 2002 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Iskatupee, Pawnee Chief by John Neagle. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,235.00), 64% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Neagle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Jacket, which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 31,113.88).

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iskatupee, Pawnee Chief von John Neagle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 13.235,00) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von John Neagle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Jacket beobachtet, die im September 2012 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 31.113,88) versteigert wurde.
