This artwork by John Anster Fitzgerald achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in September 2021. In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work 'Who Killed Cock Robin' - A Study sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,998.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Anster Fitzgerald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream After The Masked Ball (The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of) in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 301,250.00 (€ 364,233.89).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream After The Masked Ball (The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of) im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 301.250,00 (€ 364.233,89).
