This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2017. In the Modern | Post War | Contemporary auction, the work Small owl jug. sold for EUR 7,740.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im November 2017 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Small owl jug. für EUR 7.740,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
