In September 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations, which included the work Roosjes; roses in a jar by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 74,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl.
