Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mending the nets in the dunes by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 74,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mending the nets in the dunes von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.400,00.
