Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century EuropeanArt, which included the work Mending Fishing-Nets In The Dunes of Scheveningen by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,450.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 74,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mending Fishing-Nets In The Dunes of Scheveningen von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.450,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.400,00.
