Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists, which included the work Wild boar in the snow by Johann Jungblut. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,095.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Jungblut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 40,957.00 (€ 19,658.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wild boar in the snow von Johann Jungblut zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.095,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jungblut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 40.957,00 (€ 19.658,01).
