In December 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In An Urn In A Stone Niche by Johann Baptist Drechsler. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,383.24), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Johann Baptist Drechsler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).

Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers In An Urn In A Stone Niche von Johann Baptist Drechsler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.383,24) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Baptist Drechsler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
