Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase With Butterflies by Johann Baptist Drechsler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,234.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Baptist Drechsler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase With Butterflies von Johann Baptist Drechsler kam im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.234,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Baptist Drechsler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
