The work A Forest Floor Still Life With Poultry Attacked By A Hawk by Johann Baptist Drechsler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2011. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,952.99), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Baptist Drechsler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).

Die Arbeit A Forest Floor Still Life With Poultry Attacked By A Hawk von Johann Baptist Drechsler kam im Juli 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.952,99) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Baptist Drechsler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a gold sculpted urn with peaches and grapes on a stone ledge with butterflies, in a niche im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
