Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection, which included the work Stadsgezicht: a busy sunlit harbour in Rotterdam by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 117,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stadsgezicht: a busy sunlit harbour in Rotterdam von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 117.850,00.
