Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A town view with a windmill and a drawbridge by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 117,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A town view with a windmill and a drawbridge von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 117.850,00.
