Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A Tranquil Moring In A Dutch Harbour by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 117,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Tranquil Moring In A Dutch Harbour von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 117.850,00.
