Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2014. In the The Hofland Collection auction, the work Sluisje bij winter; a view of Schiedam in winter sold for EUR 7,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 117,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hofland Collection wurde die Arbeit Sluisje bij winter; a view of Schiedam in winter für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Hendrik van Mastenbroek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch 'Ijsvreugde Op Holland'S Vaarten' (Winter Fun On A Dutch Canal) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 117.850,00.
