The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,251.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Duncan Gleason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Avalon Bay, Catalina from the West 16 x 20in in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,735.52).
