Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Night Christ by Joe Bradley was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 119,700.00 (€ 111,545.99), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Night Christ von Joe Bradley wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 119.700,00 (€ 111.545,99) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Bradley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tres Hombres im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.913.274,00).
