The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,494.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joaquim Mir have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish ruinas Del Castillo De San Tueri, Felanitx (The Ruins Of The Castle Of San Tueri In Felanitx) in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 307,277.24).
