Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish boats On The Beach by Joaquim Mir was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2015. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,379.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joaquim Mir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish ruinas Del Castillo De San Tueri, Felanitx (The Ruins Of The Castle Of San Tueri In Felanitx) in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 307,277.24).

Die Arbeit Spanish boats On The Beach von Joaquim Mir kam im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.379,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joaquim Mir erzielen.
