This work of art by Joaquim Mir could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Spanish el Mas Blau changed hands for GBP 149,000.00 (€ 202,334.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Joaquim Mir have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2015 by the work Spanish ruinas Del Castillo De San Tueri, Felanitx (The Ruins Of The Castle Of San Tueri In Felanitx) at GBP 221,000.00 (€ 307,277.24).
