Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Paisaje de noche by Joaquín Clausell for USD 59,750.00 (€ 50,781.91). This price was achieved in the auction LATIN AMERICAN ART at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquín Clausell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bosque , which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paisaje de noche von Joaquín Clausell für USD 59.750,00 (€ 50.781,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion LATIN AMERICAN ART bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Clausell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bosque beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45) versteigert wurde.
