This artwork by Joannis Avramidis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2020. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam auction, the work Stirn-Kinn Kopf sold for EUR 40,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joannis Avramidis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figur II, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 142,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joannis Avramidis erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Stirn-Kinn Kopf für EUR 40.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joannis Avramidis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figur II beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 142.600,00 versteigert wurde.
